Legends Lingo Podcast Episode 117: No Al, No Problem!

Its episode 117 of the Legends Lingo podcast and the takes keep on coming! A little different this week. I missed my first ever episode of the podcast as I was on vacation with my lovely girlfriend. But that doesn’t stop the show from going on, right? Anyway, let’s break it down for you all!

Topics This Week

Powder and Matty D took the floor this week at the host and co-host, respectively. So you know it’s going to be a very baseball heavy episode. Which hey…I have absolutely ZERO problem with considering we’re all baseball first guys.

The boys start off with the Red Sox. They are right where we thought they would be. 11-6 headed into the Toronto series where they split and now take on the Seattle Mariners. The boys get into what’s been going right for the Red Sox and what can even be better.

There’s also some general MLB talk. Nick Castellanos got his appeal rejected of a two game suspension. For what you ask? Getting excited and doing it in the direction of an opposing player…YEP! The guys talk about how ridiculous the ruling seems and what this can mean to baseball going forward.

Finally, the boys briefly touch on the Celtics. They get into how good they looked during their six game winning streak. There’s also some talk about how far they can go for the rest of the year and who the Celtics will have to count on down the stretch for success.
