The Cardinals Might Actually Be Done With Josh Rosen

Ever since Kyler Murray declared for the 2019 NFL Draft, there has been speculation that he will be the number one selection. The main reason behind that is the infatuation that new, Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has with the Oklahoma signal caller.

As time has gone on, the possibility of Murray going first has seemed to become more and more likely. That means that the Cardinals first rounder from 2018 would be on the block.

Quarterback Josh Rosen had a less than stellar rookie season, but he was also in a terrible situation. The Cardinals were straight up bad. There is a reason he was the 10th selection in the 2018 Draft. He is talented. Still, according to Peter King, it is believed that Rosen will only fetch a third-round pick in a deal.

If Arizona is all in on Murray, they will trade Rosen regardless of the return. They would have no use for him. So where would he end up? It has been reported that the Washington Redskins have had preliminary discussions about the QB, but that does not mean it is a done deal. Teams with aging quarterbacks like New England, New Orleans, and the Los Angeles Chargers could be in on the former UCLA Bruin. I guess it is all dependent on what those teams think of Rosen, but it is looking very likely Josh Rosen will be suiting up in a different uniform next season.
