So as some of you may know I also report for CLNS Media. I mostly cover the Red Sox but I also do a little Patriots/NFL show there too. Shout out to my guys over there for being on scene and getting this video up.
I’m not writing this blog to talk about the stats or Gordon’s back to back 200-yard games where he was admittedly under the influence. I’m just so jacked up about this trade that I had to write it down.
NFL fans all around the world were licking their chops. “Look at this Patriots wide receiving core! It’s butt cheeks!”. Which was true. I hated it at the beginning of the season and now seeing what they looked like this past Sunday, WOOF. But everyone was so ready for the demise of the empire. Arguably the greatest duo and franchise to ever walk the face of the earth.
But let me be the first to say… HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
You bums. On Saturday night when the rumors started to swirl about Gordon being on the trading block, you knew that the Patriots were at the forefront of everyone’s minds because we all knew what Tom Brady was working with in regards to his targets. And that’s absolutely nothing.
And then when the news broke that Josh Gordon was close to becoming a member of the Patriots, you could feel the world beginning to melt. In no world should Josh Gordon, a man with talent like he has, be a target for Tom Brady… Who, if you guys forget, is the greatest of all time.
It’s just nuts and to see him in this video above… Get me new pants STAT.
By the way. Looks like Flash is going to be rocking number 10. Mystery solved.
