Jerry Jones Threatens To Sit Players Who Kneel During National Anthem & It’s Laughable

Please. You. Pandering. Fool. Who are YOU trying to make happy now you buffoon? Let me guess, your Texas fan base?

First off I will say, I’m not here to debate, once again, whether or not you agree that the players should be kneeling during the National Anthem together. I am here because Jerry Jones is such a crystal clear, spineless panderer.

HA. You are going to sit players if the kneel in their next game? Sure, it was smart of him to say this when his Dallas Cowboys have an off week and I guarantee you that he is hoping that this dissipates before their next game during week seven. But I have no respect for this move by Jones because there is zero part of me that believes a word that he says about this.

He knelt during week three before the anthem, completely diminishing the point of the protests, and gave his dumb little smug grin towards the camera saying, “Look guys, I’m kneeling with my players. Weeeeee!”.

Please Jerry. Please. You are going to sit your players next week if they kneel? Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliot and Dez Bryant, please, I beg of you, kneel and expose this pandering schlub. Because there is not a chance IN HELL that Jones forces his sock puppet, Jason Garrett, to sit his three superstars.

If these guys actually take a knee and Jones has the manhood between the legs to sit them, then sure, I’ll respect the move while he destroys my week in Fantasy Football. But once again, there isn’t an ounce of being in my body that believes that he would sit Dak, Zeke or Dez. No. Freaking. Way.

It’s unbelievable to me that these people in Texas are probably going, “See! We are America’s team! Our brave owner is standing up to those flag kneelers! Yippy!”. Because you know that they are buying this hook, line and sinker. And being in Texas, I bet you most of his fan base feels that way.

But overall it is laughable that anybody would believe Jones about this. Seriously? You think he would sit his stars? I mean hell, they’ve gotten off to a red hot start of a 2-3 season while they call Philly their daddy, right? They have nothing to lose?

Imagine if he did sit them and they lose to San Fran who they play next weekend? My Lord Dallas would be in an uproar. And you know what he’d do right? Probably dump blame on the coach.

And I’m going to assume that his players will not respond and they will all stand which is fine. There’s nothing wrong with that. Although after my reaction blog people seemed to think I hated America. Which is also fine. Wildly incorrect, but people can read things however they want.

In all honesty, if he did sit those three if they knelt though, I would have to consider Jones as a strong owner. A moron when it comes to team management as the commissioner already came out and talked about the players constitutional rights basically giving the players a pass to do it if they please. But he would stick by his word and hey, that’s gotta mean something, right?

Just for the drama though, and to give me more content to right about, please Dez, Zeke and Dak, please, I beg you from the bottom of my heart, kneel so a firestorm pops off and Twitter goes into a FRENZY.
