Jaylen Brown Fine After Terrifying Fall Last Night
After I saw the Ryan Shazier injury this season, I never thought I’d be more worried about an athelete’s well-being, until I saw Jaylen Brown fall last night.

If he didn’t land on his back, we could be talking about a possible career ending injury right now. The way he froze up after that landing was extremely similar to what happened to Ryan Shazier this NFL season. I mean he was literal inches away falling on his god damn neck and breaking it. I was sick to my stomach when I saw it happen.
But after being thrown onto a stretcher to get wheeled off the court, he managed to walk himself to the locker room under his own power. He ended up traveling with the team back to Boston following a quick visit to the hospital, while also shooting out this tweet to ensure to everyone that he’s all good.

At the end of the day, these guys are more than just athletes. It obviously would have been detrimental to the Celtics future if Jaylen was seriously injured by this fall, but his life off the court is more important. He is one of the brightest young minds in the league right now, to lose somebody like that would be a terrible thing for the NBA. I’m just glad to see that one of my favorite players is OK.
