If you don’t like the truth, then this article isn’t for you. Especially if you are a fan of Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. There have been comparisons forever about Rodgers and Tom Brady being on the same level. Well, the two faced off against each other in the NFC championship yesterday afternoon. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended up upsetting the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field 31-26.
🏈Bucs win the NFC Championship.
🏈Tampa becomes the first team in 55 years to play a home Super Bowl.
🏈Tom Brady is now going to his 10th Super Bowl – 10th! – a record that always will stand.
🏈And as a kicker, Brady collects a half-million dollar incentive for doing it.

So people have been trying to make a comparison about Brady and Rodgers being similar. Well I’m here to tell you that after yesterday, stop comparing the two quarterbacks. It isn’t even close.
Look at what Tom Brady has done in his career. With the Patriots, he has six Super Bowl victories in nine appearances. He could have very easily retired after the 2018 Super Bowl against the Rams, but decided to keep going. Forget the Patriots, let’s talk about how he just took the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl. Yes, those Buccaneers who haven’t been there since 2002 with Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks, and coach Jon Gruden. This team was an afterthought in the NFC just last year. Now? 14 wins later (11 regular season, three playoffs), they’re playing in a HOME Super Bowl. If Brady isn’t in Tampa, no way that happens. Period. End of discussion.
Aaron Rodgers has won one Super Bowl in 2010. Sure, he has some great regular season numbers. This year alone, he finished with 48 touchdowns and five interceptions. But his record in conference championship games now? 1-4. Forget any comparisons you can make to Brady here. Rodgers can’t get it done in the clutch. He even had a home conference title game this year and couldn’t get it done. Sure, he played decently. But he made some big mistakes toward the end of yesterday’s game. You can’t be in the conversation for best of all time if you only win one Super Bowl.
Stop it with trying to compare them. The two are in totally different classes. Brady is considered the greatest of all time. Rodgers is an extraordinary talent, but he just hasn’t been able to get it done since 2010. So put the arguments to bed. The score was settled yesterday. And sure, some will say, “BrAdY HaD ThReE PiCkS!” I’m aware, but who won the game when it was all said and done? Enjoy it Bucs fans, it’s a fun anticipation and you have the right quarterback leading the charge.
