Is Steph Curry onto Something with his Moon Landing Theory?

Basketball players or conspiracy theorists? We may never truly know.

Warriors star point guard Steph Curry joins Kyrie Irving as the two biggest conspiracy theorists in the NBA after some comments he made went viral this afternoon. Irving, who is famously known for being a flat-earther, has gotten a bunch of shit from just about every scientist and NBA fan with a brain that’s out there. Curry may have just put himself in that same boat, as he recently revealed himself as a moon landing truther.

Curry was joined by teammate Andre Igoudala on the “Winging It” podcast, hosted by Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore of the Atlanta Hawks. When the topic arose, every player on the program agreed with Curry’s take that the moon landing was a giant hoax. Now, I’m not a huge conspiracy theorist myself, but if I were to ever get on board with one, it might have to be this. There’s simply too much to back it up. This isn’t a conspiracy theory blog, so I’m not going to tail off too far with this take. Just look it up on your own time and tell me you don’t slightly feel the same way as Steph does.

We all know what’s going to happen next here. After Neil Degrasse Tyson is finished being charged as a sexual predator, he’s going to come out and call Steph an idiot. Either that, or Neil Armstrong is going to rise from his grave and smack the shit out of him. Regardless of who it is, Curry is going to get shit from just about anyone who thinks they know what they’re talking about here. My advice? Stick to your guns, Steph. It might not have worked for Kyrie, but I like your chances a bit more here.

BTW, are there any other famous Neils out there? I can’t believe I used two of them in back to back sentences. Comment below if I’m missing someone obvious.
