Is Lincoln Riley The Next Head Coach Of The Dallas Cowboys?
Earlier this afternoon, Oklahoma Sooners football lost the commitment of junior quarterback Brock Vandagriff.
With Oklahoma football on the rise- after two consecutive College Football Playoff appearances- many may wonder why Vandagriff decided to decommit. But as it turns out, Vandagriff had previously told Sports Illustrated that he would not play for the Sooners if head coach Lincoln Riley left for the NFL.
Does this mean Riley is headed to the big stage? Not necessarily, but with multiple job openings across the league Riley will definitely garner the interest of many clubs: most notably the Dallas Cowboys.

It isn’t official that Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett is getting the boot, but signs point in that direction. Riley also isn’t a shoe in to get Cowboys gig if / when Garrett is canned, but it’s been reported before that Riley and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones have a close relationship.
No one really knows what is happening in Dallas, but based on the news revolving around Vandagriff and Jason Garrett, there could be a real chance Riley is the one calling the shots for the Dallas Cowboys at the start of the 2020 season.
