Fantasy Football Preview: New York vs Washington

Fantasy Football week number two is back for Thursday’s Night clash between the New York Giants and the Washington Football team. In week number one we saw both teams fail at their task, but we did see some good for both sides. Even without Curtis Samuel, the Football team have some receivers that could be worthy fantasy wise. Giants offense will look to bounce back after their bad performance in week number one. Both teams need a win to get the season going and with that being said here is my fantasy football preview for the Thursday Night matchup.

Must Play:

Saquon Barkley

Saquon Barkley had a rough first week back after missing the majority of last season due to a torn ACL. Barkley I think can expose this Washington front seven tonight and can be a serious play this week. Fantasy Football owners drafted Barkley either in round one or round two and need some kind of results from him soon. I think we see a bigger workload from Barkley in week number two. Fantasy football owners need to take a deep breath because Saquon is going to have a Saquon Barkley game that we affiliate him with.

Prediction: 105 rushing yards, 4 receptions 45 receiving yards 2 total touchdowns. RB10 this week for me.

Keep An Eye On:

Dyami Brown

Dyami Brown is a guy to keep an eye on not only this week, but for the rest of the season as well. Brown is owned in 1.8 percent of leagues on ESPN. I think he is going to get some serious targets in week number two and I really see his fantasy value skyrocketing after this week. With Taylor Heinicke starting this week and for the forseeable future I do see Brown’s value increase. I think Brown has a chance to be a good flex guy in the future, but I am waiting to see him breakout first before I play him in my leagues. Keep an eye on Washington’s rookie wideout this week.

Avoid:

Kenny Golladay

We saw the struggles for Golladay in week number one and they will continue in week two. Golladay was targeted only six times which was third on the team behind Shepard and Darius Slayton. I think his target share will be around the same this week as I do see him struggling yet again in week number two. Gollday put up barely ten points in week number one and I think he will get less this week. Avoid Kenny Golladay as he will be the third to fourth option that Daniel Jones looks at.

Other Fantasy Predictions:

Antonio Gibson: 85 rushing yards, 6 receptions 65 receiving yards 2 total touchdowns. RB5 this week for me.

Sterling Shepard: 6 receptions 65 receiving yards and a touchdown. WR32 this week for me.

Terry McLaurin: 8 receptions 88 receiving yards. WR19 this week for me.
