Fantasy Football Preview: Indianapolis vs Baltimore

We are back to give you the fantasy football preview for the Monday Night Football matchup. The Indianapolis Colts are on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens in what should be a very interesting Monday Night Football matchup. We have a interesting QB matchup in Wentz vs Lamar Jackson. I think this is a good matchup that isn’t getting the attention it deserves. Obviously I know Carson Wentz isn’t a name that people are excited to see anymore, but I think he is going to shine in prime time tonight. With that being said here is my fantasy football preview for tonight’s game.

Lamar’s Numbers On Monday Night

Lamar Jackson has played in four games on Monday Night Football and has a 2-2 record in those four games. He has eight passing touchdowns to go along with 0 interceptions. He also has two rushing touchdowns to go along with it as well. So in total that is ten total touchdowns in four games. Lamar also played in a Monday Night game in week one and his numbers were solid. In that game, Lamar had 235 passing yards, 86 rushing yards and one total touchdown. He also fumbled twice in that game, but I don’t see that being an issue this week. I think that Lamar plays well enough tonight, but he won’t wow anybody with his numbers tonight.

Jonathan Taylor Hitting His Stride?

Last week we saw Jonathan Taylor finally hit the 20 fantasy point mark for the first time all season long. Tonight he takes on a Baltimore Ravens team that is ranked 23rd against opposing fantasy football running backs. In their four games so far this season they have given up 17 fantasy points to Josh Jacobs and 23.7 to D’Andre Swift as well. Both of those running backs are similar to Jonathan Taylor. Young running backs that can find the hole and can be a workhorse for the entire game. Taylor is going to have a field day tonight against this Ravens defense and look for him to eclipse the 20 point mark yet again.

Which Number One Receiver Should You Play?

Hollywood Brown or Michael Pittman Jr. who will be the player to play tonight? We have Hollywood Brown going up against the Colts who are ranked 20th against opposing teams wide receivers in fantasy. Meanwhile we have Michael Pittman Jr who is going up against the Ravens who are ranked 6th against opposing teams wide receivers in fantasy. You would think that just looking at the numbers that Hollywood Brown would be the play here. I just really like this matchup for Michael Pittman Jr. The Ravens have yet to allow a 100 yard receiver all year. Yes, Darren Waller put up over 100 receiving yards against them, but he isn’t listed as a wide receiver.

If Hollywood scores a touchdown his fantasy value is much higher than it should be this week. Every other week he seems to have a stinky game and with last week him having a good game, he could very well have his stinky game incoming. So if I had to choose between the two I would take Michael Pittman Jr. over Hollywood Brown in this matchup tonight.
