Enes Kanter Taking Shots At the Knicks For Waiving Him Is My Favorite Clip of the Day
Okay, I’ll be honest, I don’t even know if this necessarily counts as Enes Kanter taking a shot at the New York Knicks for waiving him. To be honest, I’m 100% sure he’s completely okay with not being apart of that dumpster fire of an organization anymore. Especially now that he’s on a VERY legit team that some–Charles Barkley–are saying have a legit shot at going to the NBA Finals.

If you’re a Knicks fan, you can’t be mad at this, right? I like Enes Kanter a lot. I think his personality fits the NBA but it isn’t too over the top like Russell Westbrook’s like we’ve seen this week. But seriously, this is a shot that should twist the Knicks front office’s stomachs.
The Knicks let him go which, fine. If that’s what you had to do that’s what you had to do. But for Kanter to be on national TV while basically saying that he couldn’t be happier where he is compared to where he was… yikes.
And the only reason this is a yikes scenario is because the Knicks are just such a trash organization at this point. Like, come on man. You are the New York Knicks. You are easily the bigger and most beloved NBA team in the state. Sorry Nets but when you think of New York basketball, the Knicks SHOULD be king. But they have a horrendous owner who can’t keep his mouth shut and drives free agents away. And just a massive inability to build any moderately successful teams.
Kanter deserves to take those shots. Honestly, I’m here for the Trailblazers run and want to see them go deep this postseason.
