CBB Daily Report (1/22/22)
We are back with another daily gambling report for college basketball. Yesterday, we saw our home dog lose in the final minutes of the game. We split favorites winning, both games went over when we had the under. The parlay of the day was another loser as well. It wasn’t a good day for the Daily Report, but with the big slate of games we will bounce back in a big way today. With that being said here is my daily gambling report for Saturday’s slate of college basketball games.
Home Dogs: 4-4 (-0.4u) ML (2-6) (-3.5u)
St. Johns +2 -110 ML (+115)
We got a good home dog in this Big East showdown today. St. John’s is our first home dog of the day and they are taking on Seton Hall. The Red Storm are 10-2 at home this season and will look to win their eleventh out of thirteen games at home so far this season. In the last 27 meetings between these two teams, the home team is 21-6 against the spread. Seton Hall in their last eight games as a road favorite, they are 2-6 against the spread. Love the Red Storm to cover and win this Big East showdown outright.
Kansas State +7 -110 ML (+250)
The Kansas State Wolfpack are the second home dog that I like today. The Wolfpack are at home against the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas State is 7-3 at home this season and will look to take down their rival for the first time since February 2019. In their last 32 meetings between these two Big 12 rivals, the home team is 22-8-2 against the spread. Kansas is coming off of an overtime win against Oklahoma and they have a big matchup against Texas Tech on Monday. This is a classic look ahead spot and the Kansas State Wildcats will be ready. Wildcats cover the spread and have a real chance at winning this game outright.
Lovin The Favorites: 5-4 (+0.6u)
UCLA -3.5 -110
The Bruins are looking to continue their hot play as they go on the road tonight at Colorado. They have struggled at Colorado in the past, but I don’t think that will happen tonight. Colorado has lost two out of their last three and they are a lot worse than their record shows. In the last eighteen games for the Buffaloes, they are 5-11-2 against the spread in those games. The Bruins in their last nine road games against a team with a winning home record, they are 7-2 against the spread. UCLA continues their fantastic showing as of late and they will win and cover tonight.
Feeling The Over/Riding The Under: 3-6 (-3.6u)
USC vs Utah (138.5)
The Trojans head to Utah tonight in this Pac 12 showdown. USC is coming off a big road win at Colorado and Utah has lost seven in a row. The total of 138.5 has made me feel a certain type of way. When I first sat down I decided to go one way and now I am going to go the other. I am riding the under 138.5 in this one. Utah has been one of the best under teams in the country when at home this season. The under in Utah’s ten home games is 6-3-1. USC is also a good road team to bet the under on as well. In their last 13 road games, the under is 9-3-1. Ride the under as we will bounce back in the over/under portion of the daily report.
Virginia vs NC State (128.5)
This ACC showdown screams one way when it comes to the over/under, but the smart thing to do is go the other way. This game screams under, but I am feeling the over 128.5 in this one. The over is 7-3 in NC State’s last ten home games. In Virginia’s last eight games as a road underdog, the over is 5-2-1. These two teams are known for the under, but the over is going to hit tonight.
