Caylee Allard has the best fantasy hockey team. I don’t care what anyone else thinks. Nobody should make a bet against her. Why? She’ll win. You will regret making a bet against her, she’ll make you question all your decisions. She’s got great knowledge about the game and great knowledge about the players in the NHL. I learned a valuable lesson, don’t talk smack if you can’t back it up. It’s that simple.

The bet

So here’s the bet Caylee and I agreed to. We both immediately agreed to this and knew that we had a fun week ahead of us. Speaking of fun, there was also a poll taken to see who everyone was rooting for.

47.2% of you must be very happy. Not as happy as Caylee, but still very happy. Also, I can confirm that both teams did infact have fun. Even though there had to be a loser, the losing team still did have fun. This bet definitely made the week way more fun and very interesting. To my supporters (19.4%), I’m sorry, but, we lost to a great person. This was by far the best loss I have had all season long. I wouldn’t want to lose to anyone else.

The turning point

Here’s when Caylee took the lead and never looked back. Her team is just too good. She overall had the best draft out of everyone, and I felt the wrath of it. Her team is just amazing. Amazing leadership leads to an amazing team.

Final score

Yeah, she beat me… by a lot. Again, this is the best loss I have ever had. She’s the best rival I’ve made from fantasy hockey and I wouldn’t want to have another rival. Without her (and Diego), last week would have never happened. Rasky Business is now my second favorite team (my team is still my favorite), and the rest of the league should fear Caylee’s team. A great mind put together a great team.

My statement

Well, I lost. Caylee absolutely destroyed me. This was a fun week keeping track of this matchup. I want to thank everyone who took the time to vote in the poll, and for those who were genuinely curious about this matchup. This isn’t the result I was hoping for, but I’m happy with it. I had an early lead and couldn’t hang on to it. The better team won, there’s no denying that. Caylee is a great rival but an even better person and it wouldn’t surprise me if she wins the whole league. Rasky Business is a strong team with a strong leader. If for some reason you’re not following her, what are you doing? She’s got some of the best tweets out of everyone in hockey Twitter, and she’s a pretty cool person. Congrats Caylee!

At the end of the day, there was good sportsmanship. I accept the loss, and I’m looking forward to writing everyday this week. Seriously though, Caylee, go win the whole league. I’ll be rooting for you!
