Breaking: Bryce Harper Signs A Mega Deal

At long last Bryce Harper’s huge demands haver been met.

Per MLB Network’s Jon Heyman, Harper has reached a deal with the Philadelphia Phillies. The record-breaking contract is worth $330 million over 13-years….. with no opt-outs!

As if all that money weren’t enough, Jared Diamond of the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Harper will also be the beneficiary of a $20 million signing bonus.

This news comes hours after reports that Harper met with the San Francisco Giants for a second time. The Los Angles Dodgers were also rumored to be in hot pursuit of the all-star slugger.

Harper’s deal with the Phillies keeps him in the NL East, which if you’re a Nationals fan has to kill you a little bit on the inside.

The Phillies are also serious contenders for Mike Trout in the near future. Watch out for Philly.
