Blabbergate: Trump Reveals Top Secret Information to the Russians
Wait, Trump in the news? I know, it’s nothing new and he does it on purpose. This time is a little different though. Well only a little different; it’s still about how he’s too incompetent and unqualified he is to do the job he has. However, this time he may have crossed a line that puts the United States in dangerous territory.
The Washington Post reported yesterday that Dr. Evil, erm, I mean Mr. Trump revealed classified intelligence on ISIS and their plans with Russian officials. Not to Vladimir Putin during their late night laying-in-bed-in-their-PJs conversations. No, he was bragging (surprise) to Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and its Ambassador to the United States, Sergei Kislyak, during a meeting last week.
We can’t really blame the guy. With a psychological disorder that forces him to talk about himself constantly, it’s hard to think before you speak. He also doesn’t have the tightest grip (with his tiny hands) on reality, making it difficult to separate talking points, from blatant lies, from classified information. We get it. Stay strong, Donald.
The news shared hasn’t even been given to our allies that are helping us against ISIS, which makes this the worst part. Now the hostile country that we oppose on several fronts has access to information that we could have used to fight ISIS [2].
You don’t need me to tell you he is on the road to impeachment, he kinda does it himself. I think he secretly doesn’t want to be President anymore. He enjoys winning and talking, not the actual work. If that’s the case, he’s getting closer. Congressional Democrats and Republicans are disappointed in the possibility that the President could have carelessly told the Russians (of course them, by the way) top secret information [3].
It’s getting to the point (which I predicted months ago) that Republicans will need to defy and act against Trump if they want to have a chance in upcoming elections. Trump is poisonous for the Republican brand and they cannot afford to lose the support they managed to gain over the last couple years. Impeachment isn’t easy, but if the number of Republicans in favor grow, there’s a chance. Remember, impeachment is just charges by Congress against the President, not straight removing him from office. If they find him guilty, that’s most likely what follows though.
So surprise, Donald Trump is proving that he can’t be President. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so, because I told you so. #BlabberGate
