Bill Belichick Mic’d Up for Last Sunday’s Win Against the Dolphins is Everything You Would Expect it to Be
NFL Network’s Week 12 edition of Sound FX featured the GOAT NFL head coaches, Bill Belichick. And in typical Billy B fashion, he was an absolute gem.
It kicks off with Belichick discussing defensive formations on his headset with god knows who, probably Ernie Adams. Then the guy with the smooth ass voice chimes in to talk about how Belichick is pretty much the king of adapting to situations in-game.
Then, it cuts to a number of moments during the game where Belichick was either complaining about some bad call or saying how the defense need to do better on Jarvis Landry and executing their game-plan.
We then get to the best part of the video, the touchdown montage. Belichick’s reaction to each of the Patriots five touchdowns are shown here, and of course, he could have cared less about any of them. During each one, Bill is shown standing completely still and emotionless while Bob Soci and Scott Zolak’s live reactions are playing in the background. It really doesn’t get more Belichick than that. All that man cares about is the gritty stuff, he could care less about touchdowns and things of that nature. And of course, directly after this a clip of him raving about a block from Dwayne Allen is shown. Because why wouldn’t he be raving about a block.
I love when Patriots are featured in these Mic’d Up specials because it gives a nice inside look that you really don’t get from this team too often. They tend to keep everything in-house, and for good reason. I’m just hoping a new Tom Brady one is next.
