Antonio Brown’s Latest Christmas Wish? It’s Returning To The Patriots

Another day, and it’s another story about Antonio Brown. This one isn’t as bad as you might think. Obviously, everyone saw the Patriots struggle again offensively last night. They lost to the Houston Texans 28-22. The funny part was after the game when Antonio Brown posted this video over social media.

What’s it telling us? It’s telling us that Antonio Brown wants to desperately come back to the New England Patriots.

Why It’d Be A Good Idea

The Patriots need somebody who can create separation in the receiving game. We saw last night that Tom Brady relies heavily on two people: Julian Edelman and James White. Keep in mind, White is a running back. Brown can give you that big play-making ability that the Patriots have lacked the last few weeks. Plus, Brown already knows a bit of the Patriots offense. He was there for 11 days. He must have learned SOMETHING along the way. If the Patriots are serious about getting Super Bowl number seven, they might have to make the move (again).

Why It’d Be A Bad Idea

The Patriots don’t need the unnecessary drama. Who knows if there are more stories that will come out about Brown? We all know how active he is on social media. The Patriots can’t say, “you’re not allowed to have your phone!”, that just won’t work. It failed the first time, so history is probably due to repeat itself.

In Conclusion

It’s a funny video given the situation. This could have all been avoided if AB stayed off of social media. He is a great talent, but obviously he has a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes. Should the Patriots bring AB back? In this case, yes. Will they bring him back? Probably not if Robert Kraft has the final say. Time will tell if the Patriots offense will finally click more on a consistent basis. That would be a Christmas present all of Patriots nation would enjoy!
