CELTICS

And The Boston Celtics Select…. Part 1

The Boston Celtics hold the 14th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and it takes place in 17 days. No, they didn’t get a pick in the lottery, but there are still a number of great players they can select from. There is always a possibility that they trade up for someone they really want.

First things first, the Celtics need a big man. Give me a power forward or a center. We drafted big man Robert Williams last year, but he won’t see impactful minutes anytime soon. The first guy I’d look at is Junior PF Rui Hachimura out of Gonzaga. Take a look for yourself.

The kid can provide the Celtics with some needed offense off the bench. He’s basically the same height/weight as Robert Williams, but way more versatile. He needs to work on his ball handling, passing and shooting, but he’s a quick learner. If he falls outside the top 10 then this could be considered a steal for the C’s.

Over the next two weeks, I’ll give you a couple of other players that the Celtics should go after with the 14th pick. Make sure to stay tuned and look out for more news/info.
