A Potential Brady Successful Playoff Run, Hurts the Patriots
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Quarterback Tom Brady start their playoff journey tonight in the Nation’s Capital, Washington. This will be the first time in Brady’s career where he will be partaking in Wild Card Weekend.

This will be the first time since 2008 that the New England Patriots will not be in the postseason and honestly, it feels strange. This is because Brady is in the postseason and the Pats are not. This is where my point comes in.
Brady has had a successful season, finishing 11-5 while the Patriots finished 7-9. Brady had 43 Touchdown passes while the Patriots Quarterbacks finished with a combined 10 Touchdown passes. Yes, there were moments where the Buccaneers struggled but they seemed to always regroup while the Patriots got worse as the season would go on.
Now, let’s say Brady makes a deep playoff run, this will not be a good look for the Patriots. Right now, the Patriots have no plans at Quarterback and Brady has been very consistent with playing until his body tells him he cannot no more. All the Patriots had to do was give him a good money contract and the team would have been in the playoffs
I know there were a lot people who were on the fence whether to pay Brady or not. However, with no plan, like mentioned, at the Quarterback position, the team could have offered him that contract. No one knows whether Brady would have accepted that or not, but it feels like the Patriots didn’t even try.
Tom Brady is insane. Holy shit. pic.twitter.com/qHKv4CHtAt

So, now we see tonight whether the Patriots made a mistake or not. Brady and the Bucs take on the 7-9 Washington Football team tonight at 8:15.
