The Boston Celtics have an early West coast trip that consists of the Sacramento Kings, the Phoenix Suns, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Denver Nuggets. It started on a good note as the Celtics beat the Golden State Warriors 105 – 100 on Friday night.

As everyone knows, the Celtics currently hold the best record in the Eastern Conference and will be tested during this road trip.

I find the scheduling to be not in the favor for the Celtics as they just played a home game Wednesday night. Then they had to fly cross country to take on Golden State Friday night. It seemed to be a little extreme to me. However, this team is always well prepared and wants to show the league that they are legit contenders.

The Celtics have winnable games during this trip. The Clippers game will be the must-watch game as they are one of the favorites to represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals. This game will show if this team is legit or not. Even if it’s a loss, as long as the Celtics compete at a high level, this will show the league that they can play with the best of them.

I hope that the Celtics come out of this road trip 3-2. It will keep their momentum going, and the players will remain confident with one another. The drama-free season has made this team fun to watch and for Celtic fans, excitement, and hope for a positive ending to the season.
