A Cryptic Celtics Tweet

Ladies and Gentlemen! May I have your attention please? Boston Celtics Robert Williams has just dropped a cryptic tweet making us all wonder what does it mean?

So what does this tweet mean? Celtics Twitter is in a frenzy refreshing Twitter waiting for a Woj bomb tweet to drop. The Celtics have been pretty quiet since the start of the NBA offseason, but that could change today. Will the third-year big man be involved in a deal?

There has been numerous internet rumors involving the Celtics. The majority of these rumors have created by green teamers covering the team. However, there is a big decision looming at 5pm today. Gordon Hayward needs to decide if he will opt-into is $34.2 million dollar option and remain in Boston.

If Hayward decides to opt-out of his deal and the Celtics could look to move Hayward. At the beginning of the month, Ryen Russillo of The Ringer said that Hayward wanted out of Boston.“I don’t know if he’s going to get the money,” he said on “The Bill Simmons Podcast.”“He’s not opting out of that huge number unless he knows he’s getting the deal.”

What Does it All Mean?

What does the Williams tweet even reference? Is Williams referencing a music lyric? The Hayward decision that is looming certainly adds fuel to the fire that there is a trade on the horizon.

The other question that needs to be asked, are the Celtics looking to trade Williams? I am not sure it makes sense trading one of their bigs but Danny Ainge must have a plan to part with one of his young tots.

Whatever the tweet means, it will become more clearer once Hayward makes his decision today. Until then, the speculation will run a muck on social media. Relax and enjoy the ride today Celtics fans.
