3 Trades For Kevin Love
It’s been a crazy NBA offseason to say the least and most of the dust has settled now. Of course, the biggest movie by far was LeBron James signing with the Los Angeles Lakers which leaves the Cleveland Cavaliers in shambles. With LeBron gone, another big move could be coming as Kevin Love is likely to get traded. Knowing that, here are 3 trades the Cavs could get for the All-Star.
Cavaliers: Domantas Sabonis, Thaddeus Young, TJ Leaf, and IND’s 2019 1st Rounder
Pacers: Kevin Love
Indiana was a major surprise last year and now has a bright future ahead of them with Victor Oladipo leading the charge. By acquiring Love, Indiana adds a legit number two option and gives Myles Turner a great frontcourt mate. The Cavs get an expiring contract with Young, a 1st rounder, and a young prospect in Sabonis.

Cavaliers: Harrison Barnes
Mavericks: Kevin Love
While unlikely, this one is the most fun. By draft Luca Doncic 3rd overall, Dallas could easily start him at the 2 or the 3. Trading for Love, you get a great frontcourt with him and DeAndre Jordan. You also give Doncic more playing time. By acquiring Barnes, the Cavs can sell their fanbase on a new face of the franchise. He’s only 26 and can score at a good rate.
Cavaliers: Dario Saric, Robert Covington, and Jerryd Bayless
76ers: Kevin Love
Two things that the 76ers lacked in the post was veteran leadership and shooting. Kevin Love provides both of those. He, Joel Embiid, and Ben Simmons could form one of the best big 3s in basketball and become legit Finals contenders. Saric is a very good young player that the Cavs to get and Bayless’ expiring contract gives the Cavs cap space
