2021 NFL Top 100: 61-70

I am back yet again with part four of my NFL Top 100 list. Today we will discuss the players ranked from 61-70 on my list. If you missed 71-80 here is a link for it.

With that being said here are the players that rank from 61-70 in my NFL Top 100 list for the 2021 season.

70.) Calvin Ridley (Atlanta Falcons)

Coming in at number 70 is now the number one wide receiver on the Falcons depth chart. Calvin Ridley is a talented wide receiver that will be looking to put up some huge numbers this year as WR1 on the depth chart. Last year was a career year for Ridley who was playing the most of the year as WR1 due to Julio’s injuries. In 2020 he had 90 receptions to go along with 1,374 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns. We should see a good boost in Ridley’s targets and receptions total this year as Matt Ryan’s number one target. Look for Ridley to potentially be in the 100 plus receptions total this year and will be a top 70 player in the 2021 NFL season.

69.) Andrew Whitworth (LA Rams)

Andrew Whitworth is about to enter his 16th season in the NFL. He is one of the more durable offensive lineman that I have seen in my lifetime. Last year was the first time in his NFL career that he played in under ten games in a season. With Whitworth being healthy it adds a gigantic boost to a guy like Matthew Stafford. Look for the 40 year old left tackle to help carry the Rams to where they need to be this year.

68.) Brandon Schreff (Washington Football Team)

One of the best offensive linemans that plays guard in the NFL today is none other than Brandon Schreff. The Football Team has seen how good the 4 time Pro-Bowler and former All-Pro actually is, Now in his seventh season with the team, Schreff is a big time factor for that offense. He has had a bit of an injury history the past few seasons, but when he is on the field he is one of the best offensive lineman in the game today. Watch out for number 75 for the Football Team as he is ranked 68th on my list for the top 100 players in the NFL.

67.) Corey Linsley (Los Angeles Chargers)

Coming in at number 67 is the new center for the LA Chargers Corey Linsley. Linsley has been a staple for the Green Bay Offensive line since the 2014 season. Last year he was an All-Pro center and now he is taking his talents to LA to protect their young talented quarterback Justin Herbert. Linsley is going to be big time for the Chargers this season, and the former All-Pro is going to do his best to give Herbert as much time as he needs in the pocket. He will also help Herbert on the calls when calling audibles as well this season.

66.) Cameron Heyward (Pittsburgh Steelers)

The four time Pro-Bowler and two time All-Pro defensive tackle Cameron Heyward comes in at number 66. Heyward’s sack total dipped from 9 in 2019 to 4 in 2020, but Heyward was still a force for that Steelers defense. Pittsburgh’s defense was fantastic last year and if we saw All-Pro Heyward show up last year it would have made for some interesting television. Heyward is in year 11 of his NFL career, he might not be as great as he has been in his career. He is still going to be a top player in the NFL today.

65.) JJ Watt (Arizona Cardinals)

JJ Watt is easily a first ballot hall of famer in my eyes I would like to see you tell me otherwises. Injuries have derailed his career a little bit, but when he is on the field boy does he make an impact. This is the guy that has over 100 career sacks in his NFL career. He played in all 16 games last season, so the Cardinals are going to get Watt in his top form in my opinion. A defensive end with two career pick six’s who is a four time Pro Bowler and a four time All-Pro is hard to come by now a days. Arizona got him for basically nothing in free agency. Watch for Watt to remind us how good he actually is this year.

64.) Mike Evans (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Mike Evans is an elite wide receiver in the league today. He also has the best quarterback of all time throwing him the football right now as well. Evans has gotten over 1,000 receiving yards in his first seven years in the league. The three time Pro Bowler is a highly talented receiver that can go up and get just about any 50/50 ball that there is. I can’t wait to see Mike Evans back this year because now that Brady and him have that connection, his numbers are going to be astronomical this year just you wait.

63.) Demario Davis (New Orleans Saints)

Demario Davis has been the anchor for the Saints defense the last three seasons. The former All-Pro linebacker has had over 100 tackles in his three seasons with the Saints. He is a big part of their defense and even last season when it looked like he was a step behind where he was a season prior, he still came up clutch. Davis deserves a lot more credit than he gets from the media. Watch out for Davis to show yet again why he is a force to be reckoned with.

62.) Nick Chubb (Cleveland Browns)

Nick Chubb is a very vital part of this Cleveland Browns offense. The two time Pro Bowler has been an absolute wagon for the Browns in his short NFL career. Having no less than eight touchdowns in a season and only has rushed for under 1,000 yards once in his career. 5.2 yards per rushing attempt is his average which is crazy. Chubb has the potential to open up any game for the Browns. His effective run style helps create more opportunities for Baker Mayfield.

61.) Minkah Fitzpatrick (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Another key piece to another good team here at number 61. Minkah Fitzpatrick has absolutely blossomed into a shut down defensive back since being traded to Pittsburgh. Boy Miami must really be kicking themselves in the butt over that one. Fitzpatrick is not only a 2 time Pro Bowler, but he is also a 2 time All-Pro as well. He has been one of the top five defensive backs in the league since becoming a Pittsburgh Steeler. We should see more of the same and maybe even better play come out of number 39 for the black and gold.

Stay Tuned as 60-51 will be out Wednesday 6/9/21.
