2017 NBA Mock Draft: Round 1, Vol. 1
We’re still a month away, but it’s never too early for a mock draft. Fultz and Ball are going one and two, there is no doubt in my mind about that. However, the way the rest of the first round plays out could go in so many different directions. With all of the depth at point guard and small forward, teams will have plenty of good options to choose from when making their selections. This is also my first mock draft ever, so bear with me:
- Boston Celtics – Markelle Fultz, PG, Washington
- Los Angeles Lakers – Lonzo Ball, PG, UCLA
- Philidelphia 76ers – Jayson Tatum, SF, Duke
- Phoenix Suns – Josh Jackson, SF, Kansas
- Sacramento Kings – De’Aaron Fox, PG, Kentucky
- Orlando Magic – Malik Monk, SG, Kentucky
- Minnesota Timberwolves – Jonathan Isaac, SF/PF, Florida State
- New York Knicks – Dennis Smith, PG, NC State
- Dallas Mavericks – Lauri Markkanen, PF, Arizona
- Sacramento Kings – Zach Collins, C, Gonzaga
- Charlotte Hornets – Frank Ntilkina, PG, France
- Detroit Pistons – Donovan Mitchell, SG, Louisville
- Denver Nuggets – OG Anunoby, SF/PF, Indiana
- Miami Heat – Justin Jackson, SF, North Carolina
- Portland Trail Blazers – Terrance Ferguson, SG, Adelaide
- Chicago Bulls – Jarrett Allen, C, Texas
- Milwaukee Bucks – Hamidou Diallo, SG, Kentucky
- Indiana Pacers – Luke Kennard, SG, Duke
- Atlanta Hawks – Justin Patton, C, Creighton
- Portland Trail Blazers – Harry Giles, C, Duke
- Oklahoma City Thunder – D.J. Wilson, SF, Michigan
- Brooklyn Nets – Bam Adebayo, PF, Kentucky
- Toronto Raptors – T.J. Leaf, PF, UCLA
- Utah Jazz – John Collins, PF, Wake Forest
- Orlando Magic – Ike Anigbogu, C, UCLA
- Portland Trail Blazers – Jonathan Jeanne, C, France
- Brooklyn Nets – Isaiah Hartenstein, C, Germany
- Los Angeles Lakers – Semi Ojeleye, SF, SMU
- San Antonio Spurs – Sindarius Thornwell, SG, South Carolina
- Utah Jazz – Ivan Rabb, PF, Cal
P.S., expect some content directly from Brooklyn via me during the draft. Not quite sure what it’ll be yet, but I do know I’ll definitley be there.
