2017 NBA Mock Draft: Round 1, Vol. 1

We’re still a month away, but it’s never too early for a mock draft. Fultz and Ball are going one and two, there is no doubt in my mind about that. However, the way the rest of the first round plays out could go in so many different directions. With all of the depth at point guard and small forward, teams will have plenty of good options to choose from when making their selections. This is also my first mock draft ever, so bear with me:

  1. Boston Celtics – Markelle Fultz, PG, Washington
  2. Los Angeles Lakers – Lonzo Ball, PG, UCLA
  3. Philidelphia 76ers – Jayson Tatum, SF, Duke
  4. Phoenix Suns – Josh Jackson, SF, Kansas
  5. Sacramento Kings – De’Aaron Fox, PG, Kentucky
  6. Orlando Magic – Malik Monk, SG, Kentucky
  7. Minnesota Timberwolves – Jonathan Isaac, SF/PF, Florida State
  8. New York Knicks – Dennis Smith, PG, NC State
  9. Dallas Mavericks – Lauri Markkanen, PF, Arizona
  10. Sacramento Kings – Zach Collins, C, Gonzaga
  11. Charlotte Hornets – Frank Ntilkina, PG, France
  12. Detroit Pistons – Donovan Mitchell, SG, Louisville
  13. Denver Nuggets – OG Anunoby, SF/PF, Indiana
  14. Miami Heat – Justin Jackson, SF, North Carolina
  15. Portland Trail Blazers – Terrance Ferguson, SG, Adelaide
  16. Chicago Bulls – Jarrett Allen, C, Texas
  17. Milwaukee Bucks – Hamidou Diallo, SG, Kentucky
  18. Indiana Pacers – Luke Kennard, SG, Duke
  19. Atlanta Hawks – Justin Patton, C, Creighton
  20. Portland Trail Blazers – Harry Giles, C, Duke
  21. Oklahoma City Thunder – D.J. Wilson, SF, Michigan
  22. Brooklyn Nets – Bam Adebayo, PF, Kentucky
  23. Toronto Raptors – T.J. Leaf, PF, UCLA
  24. Utah Jazz – John Collins, PF, Wake Forest
  25. Orlando Magic – Ike Anigbogu, C, UCLA
  26. Portland Trail Blazers – Jonathan Jeanne, C, France
  27. Brooklyn Nets – Isaiah Hartenstein, C, Germany
  28. Los Angeles Lakers – Semi Ojeleye, SF, SMU
  29. San Antonio Spurs – Sindarius Thornwell, SG, South Carolina
  30. Utah Jazz – Ivan Rabb, PF, Cal

P.S., expect some content directly from Brooklyn via me during the draft. Not quite sure what it’ll be yet, but I do know I’ll definitley be there.
