Not only has Matthew Slater retired, but there are more Patriots Dynasty episodes to recap! There’s a lot to talk about on this episode, but the guys start with one Matthew Slater. Without Liam today, Mike and Al discuss the future Hall of Famers impact on the team and what his departure means moving forward. Slater isn’t the only Patriots player who is gone, though. Lawrence Guy and Adrian Phillips have also been released. The boys go over their exits as well. Next there’s the inevitable draft talk. But this weeks episode has a salary cap spin on it! And lastly, it’s Patriots Dynasty time. The guys go over episodes 3 and 4 and give their takes. With the first Super Bowl and SpyGate as the topics, there’s plenty to discuss. The guys notice one (or two or three) important omissions though. Not only does the doc gloss over the ’03 & ’04 Super Bowl’s, but they don’t even bring up the 21-game winning streak! While there’s still a ton of intrigue with this project, it’s clear that there is a narrative. The Matthew Slater Dynasty!
