I love baseball season as much as anybody. When you play all through high school, college, and now coach it; not having it feels different. But don’t get me wrong, I love my basketball too. Specifically, this year’s Celtics team was so much fun to watch. Can’t lie, I miss going into my room and putting the Celtics on my television after a long day. We obviously know that the NBA might not come back this season. If that’s the case, I can’t wait for next season! But before we (potentially) say goodbye to this NBA season, let’s view some Celtics 2019-2020 highlights, shall we?
Early Season Highlights
The early season was a lot of fun with this Celtics team. That first win of the season against the Raptors at the Garden was the sign of things to come. How about the other big win at home against the Bucks? Another great game! If you want a flashback to the start of this whole season, then this video above is for you.
Some Clutch Moments
If you like the clutch gene, then this video is right up your alley. It has it all. One big clutch moment early on is Jayson Tatum’s three to beat the Knicks at home with 1.2 seconds left. How about the Tatum three to tie up the game against the Clippers late in the 4th quarter in Los Angeles? Want more? We have the Daniel Theis block on Trae Young to escape with a win against the Hawks at the Garden. Clutch plays are really fun to watch. This Celtics team is full of clutch moments.
Kemba Walker
Listen, I know the Celtics big duo is Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. But Kemba Walker isn’t exactly chopped liver over here. He was the big free agent signing to replace a certain point guard who won’t be named. Seeing these highlights puts a smile on my face as big as Kemba’s after hitting a big shot. We need to appreciate having a guy like Kemba on this Celtics team. This highlight video is only the beginning of Kemba doing big things in Boston.
In Conclusion
Here’s enough to get you through the day. Looking back on these just makes me miss this team that much more. Sports will be back. The NBA will be stronger than ever. But the 2019-2020 season? Man, what could have been for this Celtics team!
