Coronavirus is literally taking over the United States. I admittedly downplayed this entire situation when it first started unfolding. I was one of those dummies who was thinking that this was just a flu. But I could not have been more off on that because yeesh, this thing is POWERFUL.
It legit shut down the Boston Marathon. Something that happens, every. single April, without question. It shut down March Madness. It stopped the NBA and NHL seasons. And it’s only going to get worse.
So Donovan Mitchell had an interview with Good Morning America and it’s the first time we’ve heard from him since he tested positive for COVID-19. And he admitted he had to COOL OFF at Rudy Gobert and it took him a bit.
EXCLUSIVE: “I think that’s the scariest part about this virus is that you may seem fine.” @NBA star @spidadmitchell speaks out for the first time from isolation since being diagnosed with COVID-19, despite being “asymptomatic.” https://t.co/i9rZzYvW4s pic.twitter.com/wZJBteQjtV

Honestly though, who could blame him? If I had a jackass friend who was joking about this thing and was touching everything and it turned out that HE WAS INFECTED. I’d lose it. I’d go bananas. Lock me up in a closet because I’m choking him out. And we saw him touch all of the reporters’ recorders.
Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz thought the NBA precautions were a joke — so he touched everything in the room.
He tested positive for coronavirus today & now the whole NBA is shut down. 😫

If he was pulling this BS, imagine what he was doing in the locker room?
The craziest part about this interview was hearing Mitchell talk about how he still hasn’t shown any symptoms. That’s absolutely nuts. This guy tested positive and as of this morning, he still hasn’t shown any signs of having coronavirus. That’s gotta tell you how many people have this thing right now and we have no clue.
Stay safe, Couch Guy fans. We have a God damn MARATHON ahead of us.
