After a pause in the NBA playoffs in response to the shooting of Jacob Blake, the NBA playoffs will return Saturday, August 29, 2020. The Boston Celtics will be taking on the Toronto Raptors, starting tomorrow, Sunday, August 30, 2020, at 1 P.M. The Celtics and Raptors are both going into this series with 4-0 sweeps under their belts and seek to continue their momentum as they make their championship runs.
With the pause, it gave the Celtics more time to rest up and gear up for a tough series. The Raptors are the defending champions. They’re showing the critics that with or without Kawhi Leonard, they are a very competitive team.
I am very excited about this upcoming series. This will show us what type of team the Boston Celtics are. This playoff series will indicate if they are ready to take the next step to banner 18. Kemba Walker joined this team to be part of a championship run, and, now, this is his opportunity to shine.
I see this series going 6 or 7 because I feel both teams have high motivation for this series. As mentioned, I am very excited about this series, and it will be fun to watch.
