Where does Le’Veon Bell End Up Next Season?

After failing to sign his franchise tender before the 4 PM deadline yesterday, Le’Veon Bell will be unable to play the rest of the season.

Bell has yet to step foot on a field this year as he awaits free agency while his replacement James Conner has put up video game like numbers for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With Conner now firmly entrenched as PIT’s future back and the Steelers unwilling to give Bell a fat contract, Le’Veon will start next season somewhere new. But where? Here are the best options:

Indianapolis Colts-  Marlon Mack has come on as of late, but having Bell in their lineup would change the game. They have the cap space and he would instantly make the Colts one of the best offenses in football.

Oakland Raiders- I know, I know. Who the hell would want to go to the Raiders right now? I will tell you. Someone who wants to be paid a lot of money.

Oakland has two running backs in Marshawn Lynch and Doug Martin who are old and hurt. Bringing a workhorse like Bell into the fold would actually allow them to move the ball. It’s a long shot in my eyes, but never say never.

San Francisco 49ers- Matt Breida has played awesome since Jerrick McKinnon went down to start the season. Still, he is no Le’Veon Bell. In Kyle Shannahan’s offense Bell would be a force. Similar to what Devonta Freeman was when the head coach was in Atlanta.

If San Fran gets Bell and Jimmy G, coming off of his ACL tear, to start next season the 9ers could make some noise.

New Yok Jets- The Jets have a lot of cap space, are boring on offense, and their lead back is Isaiah Crowell. Don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see this fit.
