Khabib suggests WWE offer via Twitter
Khabib Nurmagomedov is arguably the most talked about athlete in the world this past week. After his victory over Irishman Conor McGregor at UFC 229, he went out of his way to even the odds after Conor’s bus attack this summer. He spoke more about it via this Instagram post:
Khabib and McGregor are in the middle of a meager 10-day suspension that started this Monday.
Showing no fear and giving no fucks, Khabib made a tweet that implied WWE has made him an offer after his threat above to quit UFC.
@WWE ask me to jump inside.
What do you think guys? #SmashLesnar #FakeFights— khabib nurmagomedov (@TeamKhabib) October 12, 2018
His last hashtag, #fakefights” shows that Khabib is clearly ahead of everyone else in knowing that WWE’s fights are not legitimate bouts of combat.
He also hashtags “Smash Lesnar,” signifying that he wants a piece of Brock. Brock Lesnar has about 5 inches and 130 lbs on Nurmagomedov, so that fight likely wouldn’t happen in the UFC due to division restrictions. But more power to Khabib for showing no fear, as he likes to do.
It’s likely just meant to stir up drama within the UFC, but it’s a fun one.
