College Football Week 2 Recap and Your Guide to Week 3

Ladies and gentlemen we had ourselves a great week 2 of college football. We had some close games, some blowouts, and an upset. Its weeks like these that I love to enjoy. This coming week doesn’t have any huge games but there will still be some fun games to watch but before we get into this week lets recap what happened in week 2 of the season in case you missed it.

Sam Darnold, Deontay Burnett, Ronald Jones II

USC 42 Stanford 24

USC is the real deal. Stanford got the win last year but USC played a great game on both sides of the football. What was most impressive was the 307 rushing yards that they had as a team. If they can keep playing this well, they will definitely be making some noise this January. USC has a cake walk this week as they play the crappiest team in the country, the Texas Longhorns. My cousin will be crying his eyes out after Texas gets destroyed by USC. Enjoy the loss buddy!

Clemson 14 Auburn 6

Boy was this a defensive game. Before this game started I was expecting a shootout and it was the exact opposite of that. Both QBs struggled to move the ball but especially Auburn’s QB Jarrett Stidham. He was 13/24 for 79yards, ouch. Big win for Clemson, if their defense keeps playing like this, they have a great shot at repeating as national champs.

Oklahoma 31 Ohio State 16

UPSET ALERT. Oklahoma is here to play baby. This is a absolute huge win for them. If you remember correctly I predicted that Oklahoma will be in the college football playoff and after this past week, they are looking like they will be there. Its still early, but they are definitely trending in the right direction. Baker Mayfield was a stud muffin in this game, throwing for 386 yards and 3 tds. Keep your eye on this man. As for Ohio State, well they have some work to do on the offensive side of the ball.

What Games to Watch in Week 3

#23 Tennessee @ #24 Florida 3:30pm CBS 9/16

The SEC is the best division in college football. Don’t even try to tell me they aren’t. This is going to be an interesting game. Tennessee was suppose to be in a down year for their program but they have played pretty well so far. Florida lost to Michigan week 1 and then had an off week last week because of that crazy lady named Irma. Florida was also down 10 payers in the Michigan game so those guys will be back. I am going to take Florida in this one. Florida 45 Tennessee 24

#3 Clemson @ #14 Louisville 8:00pm ABC 9/16

After recapping that Clemson game from last week they have another tough one this week against the heisman sensation Lamar Jackson. Last week this dude threw for 393 yards and 3tds and then ran for 132 yards and 3tds. That’s Johnny Football like numbers so I am loving that. When it comes to this game, its tough to predict. Last year Louisville lost a close game to Clemson 42-36. This year could be a little different when it comes to Clemson. I think they will struggle against Louisville and ultimately lose the game. This will be the game to watch this week. Louisville 37 Clemson 17

Nick’s Weekly A&M Take

Trash. That is what A&M is right now. Poopy, dirty, smelly trash. We can barely beat Nichols State. Are you freaking kidding me? Sumlin needs to go. Hell, bring in Johnny Football to coach. I guarantee we would win the national championship every year that he coached. Anyways, we’re still better than the crappy Longhorns so that’s all that matters.
