We Have A New Star Wars Trailer!

In case you have been living under a rock, a certain movie trailer dropped during halftime of Monday Night Football. It’s a small film called STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI!!! HERE IT IS!!

HOLY SHIT! That escalated quickly. So let’s get into a quick recap of this trailer of the most anticipated movie of the year. First off the trailer is Kylo Ren heavy. This caught me off guard as I thought it would focus on Rey and Luke. They are in it obviously, but this focuses on Kylo’s continuing struggle between the Dark Side and the Light Side. Personally, I don’t think he’s redeemable; I mean he killed his dad who is HAN FREAKING SOLO. Luke looks like he’s struggling when it comes to training Rey. Obviously Luke is still burned from what happened to Kylo so training someone may not come to him like it did for Yoda training him. It also was very bittersweet seeing the late Carrie Fisher once again playing Princess Leia for the final time. It’s going to be interesting how they handle her character going forward. Will Leia die in this movie or will her death be in the opening crawl of Episode IX? Last but not least, we have to talk about those last two shots. Snoke is in person wearing a gold robe and torturing Rey. Not good. Finally, Rey and Kylo are talking and appear to join forces. CUT TO BLACK! SEE YOU IN DECEMBER! That final scene is going stir up a lot of discussion and I’m not really sure how I even interpret it. One thing is for certain though, I have my tickets and I’ll be watching this movie opening night with countless of nerds. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Finally my fellow Jedi, here’s a look at the brand new poster. December 15th, 2017 isn’t that far away in a galaxy far, far away.
